Film Submissions Open FOR THE SOUND OF SILENT FILM FESTIVAL
We’re now accepting film submissions for the 17th annual Sound of Silent Film Festival happening in April of 2022. The festival features modern silent films and films without dialogue that can be screened in silence.
Films should be two to twenty minutes long and the director must be comfortable with the fact that we will screen it in silence with a new musical score by one of our composers performed live.
Sound of Silent Film has been a fixture of Chicago’s arts scene for seventeen years and has toured to New York, Austin and Mexico City.
