Now Accepting Film Submissions for the 2022 Sound of Silent Film Festival

ACM’s popular Sound of Silent Film Festival, now in its 17th year, is a unique event featuring new short silent films in every conceivable genre screened with newly-composed musical scores performed live.

We’ll present two new programs of modern silent films live at the Music Box Theater and virtually. Submissions are currently open!  The program will be announced in January, 2022 and the event will take place in April at the Music Box Theater in Chicago.
